How to Remove Common Kitchen Stains

Grease, coffee, sauce, and water marks are easier to handle when you use the right method early.

Kitchen stains usually become difficult only after they sit for too long. A fast response, the right cleaner, and a soft cloth solve most messes without damaging surfaces.

Grease on counters and cabinets

Mix warm water with a few drops of dish soap and wipe with a microfiber cloth. For stubborn grease, let the solution sit for one minute before wiping again.

Coffee, tea, and sauce stains

On sealed countertops, a paste of baking soda and water helps lift discoloration. Rub gently and rinse well so the surface does not look dull afterward.

Preventing repeat stains

Keep a spray bottle of mild cleaner nearby and wipe splashes while cooking. Quick daily maintenance is easier than deep scrubbing at the end of the week.
